Shipping Policy

At Shakti Bhakti, every order is prepared and sent with love and care from our Durban HQ. We are committed to making your experience as smooth and seamless as possible.


Order Processing

Orders are prepared and packed on Mondays, with dispatch taking place between Monday and Tuesday.

Once dispatched, orders are typically delivered between Tuesday and Friday, depending on your location.

During high demand periods, processing times may be slightly extended, but we will always keep you informed.


Delivery Timeframes

Delivery typically takes 1–4 working days from dispatch.

Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed, as they depend on courier operations.

You will receive a tracking link via email once your parcel is on its way.


Custom & Pre-Order Items

Orders containing custom-made or pre-order items will be dispatched once the item has been completed or restocked.

Estimated timelines will be provided on the product page where applicable.

If your order includes both in-stock and custom/pre-order items, the full order will be shipped together once all items are ready.

Split Deliveries

If your order contains both in-stock items and pre-order/custom items, your full order will be shipped together once all items are ready.

If you would prefer to receive your in-stock items sooner, we can arrange a split delivery.

Please note that this will require an additional delivery fee for the second shipment.

Shipping Options & Rates

  • Delivery to Pudo Locker: R59
  • Delivery to The Courier Guy Kiosk: R69
  • Delivery to Your Door: R89

For high-risk areas, door-to-door delivery is R120.

High-risk areas are determined by the courier company and refer to locations with a higher incidence of theft or hijackings. In these cases, additional security measures (such as escorts) are required, and a surcharge is applied by the courier.


Packaging

Your Shakti Bhakti order is carefully packed to ensure it arrives safely.

All orders are shipped in protective white shipping boxes with a branded sleeve. These are designed for safe delivery and are not intended as gift boxes.

If you are purchasing your order as a gift, we offer Standard Gift Boxes and Luxury Gift Boxes as add-ons, which are specially designed to create a beautiful gifting experience.

If multiple items are ordered, they will be packed together in one shipping box unless additional shipping boxes are purchased.


Pudo Locker & Kiosk Collection

If you select delivery to a Pudo locker or courier kiosk, please note:

  • You have 36 hours from receiving your collection notification to collect your parcel
  • If not collected within this timeframe, the parcel will be moved to the nearest Pudo depot or kiosk

It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange collection directly with the courier thereafter.

Shakti Bhakti does not arrange re-delivery for uncollected parcels. If the parcel is returned to us, a re-delivery fee will apply.


Delivery Responsibility

Once a parcel has been delivered and signed for at the provided address, it is considered successfully delivered.

This includes acceptance by any person at the address, such as a family member, neighbour, security, receptionist, or domestic worker.

We kindly recommend informing anyone at your delivery address to expect your parcel to avoid any confusion.


Changes to Delivery Arrangements

If you communicate directly with the courier and make alternative delivery arrangements (such as changing from a locker to door delivery), responsibility for the updated delivery lies with the courier and customer.

Shakti Bhakti may not always be notified of these changes, but we will assist where possible if you need help tracking your parcel.


Address Accuracy

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct and complete when placing your order.

Shakti Bhakti cannot be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses due to incorrect or incomplete information.

If your parcel is returned to us due to an address issue, you will be required to cover the cost of re-delivery.


Delivery Requests

If you request delivery on a specific date or time, we will do our best to pass this on to the courier.

However, these requests are not guaranteed, as delivery routes and schedules are controlled by the courier.


Damaged or Missing Parcels

If your product (not the outer packaging) arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of:

  • the item
  • the packaging
  • and the courier bag

We take great care in packaging every order. Once your parcel has been handed over to the courier, it is managed by a third-party delivery service.

While we will always assist in tracking and resolving any issues, we are unable to control the courier’s operations once the parcel is in transit.


Delivery Delays

While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control, including courier operations, weather conditions, or peak periods.

We will always assist in tracking and following up on your parcel where needed.
