Returns & Refunds
Every Shakti Bhakti piece is created and packaged with love, intention, and care. We truly hope you feel that the moment your order arrives.
However, if something isn’t quite right, please read the guidelines below so we can assist you as smoothly as possible.
Returns & Exchanges
If you would like to return or exchange an item, please email us at info@shaktibhakti.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order, including your order number and clear images of the item.
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- the item must be unused
- in its original condition
- and in its original packaging
Return courier costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
Approved returns will be issued as store credit or exchange only. We do not offer cash refunds for change of mind or sizing-related concerns.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom-made or personalised pieces
- Sale or discounted items
- Items that have been used, worn, or altered
- Items that have been damaged due to improper handling or incorrect adjustment
Damages & Defects
We carefully inspect each item before it leaves us. However, if your item arrives damaged or with a defect, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and include clear images of:
- the item
- the packaging
- and the courier bag
We will assess the issue and, where applicable, offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Protection Act.
After Use / Wear
Our jewellery is designed for daily wear, but like all accessories, it should be handled with care.
If an issue arises after use, we will assess the item to determine whether it is due to a manufacturing fault or general wear and tear.
Where a product is found to have a genuine manufacturing defect, we will honour our obligations in line with the Consumer Protection Act.
Damage caused by bending, pressure, incorrect adjustment, improper handling, or exposure beyond normal use is not considered a defect.
Bracelet Fit & Adjustability
Our bracelets are gently adjustable to fit most wrists. Adjustments should be done gradually along the natural curve of the bracelet.
Bending the bracelet at a single point or applying pressure to the top may cause it to lose its shape. This type of damage is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Tarnish, Fading & Scratches
Our bracelets are tarnish-resistant and suitable for everyday wear. However:
- they are not scratch-proof
- and natural fading of the coating may occur over time depending on use and exposure
If you experience any concerns with your piece over time, please reach out to us with clear images, and we will assess and assist where reasonably possible.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled or amended before dispatch.
- Standard items can be swapped before dispatch (processing times may be extended)
- Custom orders can only be changed before the custom order cut-off
Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed less any non-refundable transaction fees charged by payment providers.
Important Notes
- All returns must be approved before being sent back
- Shakti Bhakti reserves the right to request additional information or images to assess any return or claim
- Shakti Bhakti reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet the above conditions
- Each case is assessed fairly and individually
